Poetic Justice

Hello All. I'm back. Back to marching. Welcome. Saturday January 21st, 2017. Millions of women and their allies all over the world marched together in over 600 locations to voice dismay at the newly appointed president of the United States,  and to stand in solidarity giving attention to a variety of issues that plague our world today. The following are remarks made by actress Ashley Judd in Washington DC to the crowd of marchers - 500,000 strong. She performs a beautiful poem by 19 year old Nina Donovan titled "I am a nasty woman". These words are beautiful, uninhibited, and strong. Thank you Nina, thank you Ashley. Thank you Nasty Women everywhere. "My name is Ashley Judd and I am a feminist. And I want to say hello to Independence Avenue in the back, all the way down to 17th Street, and I bring you words from Nina Donovan, a 19-year-old in Middle, Tennessee. She has given me the privilege of telling you what she has to say: I am a nasty woman.
